Game Name?
Remington Super Slam Africa
Game ID?
SS7EFP
What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
The game mostly runs fine but for some reason the audio slows down a lot and so does the frame rate. Tried turning Dual Core and Idle Skipping off, didn't do anything. Changed the Audio from HLE to LLE, nothing. So something is clearly slowing down the frame rate and the audio because somehow they can't keep up.
What did you expect to happen instead?
The game to run properly since the graphics don't seem too demanding to me. Don't know if it's V-Sync that's causing the problem or something else.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
[Don't assume we have ever played the game and know any level names. Be as
specific as possible.]
- Run the game on normal preferences (with V-Sync enabled)
- Play the first level on Single Player and you'll encounter slow weird slow down with the audio and frame rate
- Try to see if any of the developers can dig deeper into this slowdown to see if you could provide patches to fix this slowdown in the game.
Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
Version 4.0-7099
Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)
Mac OS X version 10.10.4
CPU: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB
Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)

- Status changed from New to Invalid
We don't take bug reports on simple slowdown issues unless there's some kind of log or specific reasons for the slowdown; a lot of games are demanding for various reasons, and you're using a laptop. Laptops are liable to throttle or overheat causing Dolphin to run slower than it should. Feel free to check out the forum for similar issues or post your own thread there.
Thank you!

Where does Dolphin supply the logs for games, is it only when it crashes?
Updated by JMC4789 over 9 years ago
If you enable the logs, it'll log the whole time. I don't expect you to find any particular reason; a lot of games don't run full speed even on the best hardware. And OSX with a mediocre graphics card like that is not going to be the best hardware for Dolphin.
You're likely to find more people who're more knowledgeable on the forums.

Well it may be a mediocre graphics card but it's a 2011 iMac Desktop and my parents don't have the money at the moment to by a 2015 iMac.

i appreciate the helpfulness but if you know any testers, I'd appreciate it in the future if they could test out the game and then report the specifications of how the game runs on the Dolphin Wikipedia page because a lot of those pages on the wiki are missing reports of how the game runs.
