Description

Game Name?

Wii System Menu

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

Mii faces are transparent in mii channel.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Load wii system menu and select mii channel. When loaded, choose to create new mii or edit existing one, and select left most option (the one for naming). Also, when face editing, neck overlaps chin. Only occurs with fast depth disabled. Copies to texture only on or off makes no difference.

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?

5.0-2464. Works in pre 1000 builds.

What are your PC specifications?

Intel 4790k overclocked @ 4.7Ghz, Nvidia GTX Titan (Maxwell), Windows 10 Pro AU, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe

Slow depth is more inaccurate compared to fast depth, you should use fast depth in almost every scenario.

Fast depth causes Z-fighting issues in some games, and flickering in others.

Also, I was under the impression that slow depth was more accurate.

There's been a lot of changes over the past months which have made fast depth more accurate now, perhaps you should try those same games with fast depth now to see if they are still having issues.

When typing in Wii system settings for console nickname, all typed letter are invisible with fast depth, but are fine with slow depth.

If you want to report problems with fast depth, please make separate issue reports, otherwise they're going to be forgotten.

Fast depth is normally better. There's been a slight regression.

Slow-depth is the inaccurate path at this point.

If so, then close this issue and I'll create a new issue regarding the fast depth regressions I've noticed.
