What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
Picking up an S-Flag in Star FoX Assault level 9 causes an invalid read error, unknown pointer error, and an illegal command error, crashing the emulator EVEN WHEN DUAL CORE IS DISABLED. This same crash also happens randomly on Corneria and if you fly your arwing on Mission 9. With panic handlers off, Dolphin crashes with a navy blue screen.
This happens on ALL backends.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Enter Single Mode
- Select "Mission" mode
- Select Mission 9 (Aparoid Homeworld - Breaching the Defenses"
- Turn 180 degrees and head to the door, defeat enemies
- Once in front of the door, head to the right and head down the corridor
- Your gun should target an invisible object. Fire at it until the S-Flag appears
- Pick up the S-Flag. The Emulator should crash.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?
Dolphin 5.0 stable and 5.0-3813, both with the same error
