Sometimes,if I merely hit pause once then go to resume the game, the memory viewer clears itself in the same way it would do if I had closed a game, but when I unpause it,the game is crashed with the ear shattering buzzing sound.
Enable debug via the -debug string on a shortcut, open Brawl, start a match in Training Mode with Pikachu VS red hat Pikachu.
This is a recurring issue since even 5.0-526 with less intensity then and newer versions progressively got much worse where you can't even pause without a crash with debug enabled.
I was hoping a newer build like 5.0-4894 had this fixed. (I expect with Ubershaders enabled,it would it act up even more possibly)

The emulator itself doesn't even crash,so I can't really get data from it so easily.
It may be when I customize the game settings,as when they are all set to solid blocks instead of my check/unchecked preferences,it hasn't crashed after a few pauses.
However, right when I started to use frame step via hotkey on " \ " it buzz crashed the game anyway,so its not my custom preferences in the game's properties.
Another problem is that both Brawl and Melee have the habit of being crash-prone when using savestates, even merely trying to make a savestate can frustratingly crash when I wanted to prevent from having to redo an entire classic mode run or other task in order to unlock a character more quickly than SSE does due to needing a lot of progress before some characters get unlocked. (I got Lucario without SSE/don't want to use a cheat to unlock everything due to instability or save corruption risks)
