If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)

If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer
Not a graphics issue.

Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)
It looks like people have had this problem before (Emulator Issue #6797), but it seems that using the latest development version fixed it for them.

- Status changed from New to Invalid
The game requires a Wii Remote to be connected during the main menus. this means Wii Remote Netplay is needed to progress, which is unstable and hard to use in Dolphin. Advanced users can take advantage of this feature. The best thing I can recommend if to reset all to default on all computers you're playing (emulated Wii Remote) and connect Wii Remote 1 to player 1 on netplay. Then assign Gamecube controllers to each player as per normal. If your using a blank dolphin build for this, it's almost guaranteed to work, but can sometimes require some extra debugging.
Because what you're reporting is more or less how the game is supposed to work, i'm marking this issue as invalid.
