Description

Game: Wii Party
Game ID: SUPP01
MD5 Checksum: a8e6e6df84d023a6eb4291031b308857

Over the course of TASing Board Game Island of Wii Party, I eventually discovered when attempting to TAS the minigame "Friendly Face-Off" that the WiiMote orientation values in TAS Input had no effect on the WiiMote's cursor orientation. The only possible way I could find to orientate it was by binding a key to tilting the WiiMote left or right, which did not allow instantaneous rotation to a desired angle and required the TAS input windows to be closed to have any impact on the cursor at all. Additionally, when binding tilt to an analog stick they ceased to change the cursor orientation whatsoever.

Reproduction steps:

  1. Open Wii Party.
  2. Enter the minigame "Friendly Face-Off", whether that be through the minigames menu or a "Party Game".
  3. Attempt to use TAS input to alter the rotation of the cursor.
