Description

May not be technically an issue, I'm going to say this is but if it isn't applicable reason to write a ticket let me know. (I would put this as fix or feature request but you can only submit it as an issue)

I have a suggested fix for https://bugs.dolphin-emu.org/issues/11319#change-734366.

What if it allowed you to choose a save to sync and load over Netplay, so if the running ROM changed, it would still load a save?
In a nutshell if the ROM running changes, it won't load or sync the save on Netplay AT ALL for the ROM it switches to, and this suggested change would fix that by choosing other game saves to sync and load over Netplay, thus solving the issue and loading the save data. I really do need a fix for this and others might as well due to the fact that saves are pretty important for games.
I hope you find my suggested fix helpful.

I can't directly edit a post but I'll also try to visualise my fix idea;
I select ROM 1 in Netplay, but before starting the Netplay session, I choose an option that syncs and loads the save for ROM 2. I then launch the Netplay session. ROM 1 switches to ROM 2, and since I picked the option before, the save from ROM 2 would already be synced to the other players, and will load as the ROM is being played.
Normally, no save would load for ROM 2 even if one was on your PC, but this would likely solve it.

Don't just create random duplicates.

It's a suggestion for a fix though.

This is related to an already existing issue that you yourself created. Please stick to that issue instead.

I assumed that comments did not generate notifications because nothing was happening after I commented, but I could have been mistaken. I will stick to the other issue now.

Both new issues and comments on existing issues notify us in the same way. (Well, except for one difference: If someone added themselves as a watcher on the existing issue, they would be notified by email or such when there's a comment on that issue even if they wouldn't get the same kind of notification for new issues.)
