Description

Game Name?

Mario Party 9

Game ID? (right click the game in the game list, properties, info tab)

SSQE01 (0001000053535145)

MD5 Hash? (right click the game in the game list, properties, info tab, MD5 Hash: Compute)

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

  1. When starting a Netplay game with emulated Wiilot set, Dolphin crashes.
  2. When starting a Netplay game with no Willots set, they disconnect themselves after trying to connect them during emulation.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Host Netplay (you can do it alone) > Assign Controller Ports > Set any Wii Remote so it doesn't say "None" > Start
The result is a software crash.
  2. Host Netplay (you can do it alone) > Assign Controller Ports > Make sure every Wii Remote is set to "None" > Start > Connect any Wiilot
The result is a Willot autodisconnection.

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

I firstly tested it at at Dolphin 5.0-8817, then, at latest Dolphin 5.0-8817. Both won't work. Dolphin 4.0.2 stable has the same issue.

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?

5.0, yes :(

If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)

[First broken version number here (if applicable)]

If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer

[Attach any fifologs if possible, write a description of fifologs and screenshots here to assist people unfamiliar with the game.]

Here's a screenshot of Wiilot autodisconnection: https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/452367805866835980/498598378343628816/unknown.png?width=623&height=500

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3120M CPU 2.50GHz
AMD Radeon R5 M200 / HD 8500M Series
8GB RAM (7,9GB available)
Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Mario Party 9 works in 45-60fps.

Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)

I've written my issue on Reddit: [[https://www.reddit.com/r/DolphinEmulator/comments/9m8rfs/emulated_wiilot_disconects_itself_in_netplay/]]
