Game Name?

Game ID? (right click the game in the game list, Properties, Info tab)

[G8ME01]

MD5 Hash? (right click the game in the game list, Properties, Verify tab, Verify Integrity button)

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

[When Facing the Final Boss Shadow Queen there is a phase of the battle where she is immune to all attacks you must keep attacking her she will then attempt to use her hands to eat the crowd and heal but when this happens the game stops but the animation continues as if It refuses to further load ]

What steps will reproduce the problem?

[cant get past shadow queen boss. At the point where she is immune to any attacks, and she uses the (hands) to eat the crowd and heal the game just stops. I mean the hands are shown under the shadow queen and the music + sounds play (loop) so i think it is not freezing, it just stops loading further.]

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

[this happens on any version i attempt it on ]

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?

[Yes, Version 5.0-9950 ]

If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)

[First broken version number here (if applicable)]

If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer

[Attach any fifologs if possible, write a description of fifologs and screenshots here to assist people unfamiliar with the game.]

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

[HP 15 Notebook PC
AMD A8_7410 APU WITH AMD RADEON R5
GRAPICS 2.20GHZ
RAM - 4.00GB
WINDOWS 10 HOME 64BIT]

Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)

[Anything else here]

Try testing on a portable instance (put portable.txt next to the executable), to see if it's a configuration issue.

Also note you'll need to copy your save files into the portable instance.

I tested with techjar's save and it worked fine. It's 100% something on your end. It could be a driver issue with a radeon, it could be some setting you have enabled, it could be caused by cheats. I don't know. Take screenshots of all the graphics settings you have setup, and maybe try single core to see if it helps.

Disable the CPU clock override and test it again. If that still doesn't work, disable dual core.

Actions #20

Updated by ColorlessKing98 about 6 years ago

ok I will attempt that right now but on the other thing you told me to try im stuck at

Under "Value Data", enter the path to the custom User directory. Make sure that the "User" folder is explicitly specified, since Dolphin will assume whatever path it is directed to is the \User\ folder. If it is pointed to Desktop for example, the Desktop will be flooded with folders unnecessarily.

I think the emulated CPU clock is likely to be causing the timing issue.

disabling the override CPU clock did not work as seen in the image
I will try to disable the dual core and try again

It looks like you're suffering from severe CPU/GPU desync based on your framerate. That can cause timing issues and cause game crashes. Single Core should resolve that issue, but, I don't know if that'll fix your issue.

Thanks Techjar Disabling both the CPU clock Override and Dual core fixed the issue and I got past the point I was stuck on but its running extremely slow but I really appreciate the help and everyone else finally completed the game

  • Status changed from New to Invalid

All good, glad things worked out.

Issue was a result of settings + user error, so, closing this. Maybe we'll add a note on the wiki that this fight is dualcore sensitive.
