Description

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

Upon starting the emulator, the "Movie→Start Recording Input" is disabled, preventing a record from starting at console poweron. Playing any game and stopping emulation is sufficient to get the menu entry to become enabled and work.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Start Dolphin
  2. Click the Movie menu

You need to highlight a game in the list, then the option is enabled.

After being directed to create a game list first, I'm OK with the resolution, but in that circumstance, maybe "Start Recording Input" should never become an active menu item when no game is selected (nor a game list being empty).

Indeed, that shouldn't happen. I'll reopen this report to track that issue.
