When started in a netplay session with "Enable Dual Core" enabled, the game will frantically flicker at the initial loading screen and then inevitably crash a few seconds into the main menu. If launched normally, the game will not crash.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Check "Enable Dual Core (speedup)" in the General configuration page
  2. Right click "Super Monkey Ball 2" and click "Host with netplay"
  3. Start the game (not required to have another user in the netplay lobby)
