What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

Playing a Super Mario Galaxy TAS recording made with the GameCube controller enabled but disconnected is not possible.
I have also tested the same procedure with Wii Party, here it works.
As an error message you get the following when playing the recording: Warning: Change disc to.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Enable a GameCube Controller, but select a physical controller that is disconnected.
  2. Record a new TAS recording with Super Mario Galaxy and save it.
  3. Play the TAS recording using "Movie > Play Input Recording...".
Now the following warning appears: "Change disc to". After clicking OK, the window remains black and the recording is not played.

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?

No, because in 5.0 the possibility to keep a disconnected controller did not exist yet.
