Description

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

[Emulated systems do no connect in lan mode]

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Set up each with BBA adapter on SP1

Startup the game on all devices.
Navigate to the LAN/BBA option.
Simply wait for the games to connect.

turned off all windows firewall settings. Windows protocols and network adapter are default configuration.

I've tried this through my router, and to avoid any firewalls or network configuration issues - with a local switch attached to nothing else (switch only).

(switch only configuration)
8.8.8.8 dns on bba adapter settings - (but unreachable)
automatically assigned ip addresses in the 169.x range - each system can ping eachother

result: "establishing lan link please wait" - does not transition to "looking for gambe cube systems"

(router configuration)
turned off all firewall settings
tried with 8.8.8.8 as well as local router adress as a dns server

result: both systems get to "looking for GameCube systems" with a countdown but time out and do not detect eachother.

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

[PC specs here]

i5 4570s
integrated hd4600 graphics
realtek NIC

[Anything else here]

Made sure that each dolphin.ini had different mac addresses. Was wondering what windows settings makes this "more" successful? Turning off ipv6? Adding protocols?

My only suggestion is to restart Windows if it starts blocking communication.

Yep - Sorry again - Please close ticket

All issues are resolved by having both systems enter lan mode nearly at the same time. There is a little tolerance of a few seconds here or there, but my practice of starting one and then going to the other and starting lan mode caused them not to detect. It is reliable when both systems enter lan mode nearly simultaneously.

This is a great recent feature add. Thanks for all the hard work.
