framerate is jittery

happens on all the builds i have tried
3661,4361,4525,4635,4642
OS windows xp sp3
Please provide any additional information below.
dont have the problem in directx mode,although only the more recent builds
seem to work with d3d plugin.I think its a driver issue but doesnt happen
in my Nvidia 9200m gs notebook with 195.62 vista notebook drivers
System specs:
Core 2 Duo 2.0ghz,
2 gb ddr2 800mhz,
Nvidia 7100 mGPU,nforce 630i
Geforce driver 195.62
