theres a fairly decent list of per game config (.ini) options, but i think
widescreen hack should be on there as its a very selective feature you only
want on a few games.

the only other per game setting i would like to see is a "use gc pad"
option. when selected, launching the game would set the wiimote input
source to inactive.

with these two additions there would be very little need to go into the
options every time.
