Emulator Issues #2295
closedWii games won't load on x86 (using 32-bit IO)
0%
Description
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Load a WII iso
2.
3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output is that the games would work, but that does not
happen. When i load up a wii iso, dolphin starts to load it and crashes.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using Dolfin SVN Build 4771. I'm on a Windows 7 Ultimate PC. And I
have installed all the necessary files for dolphin to work.
Please provide any additional information below.
I do not have a wiimote because I do not have a wii anymore.
For GC games, I use a PS3 DS3 Controller

Someone was working (or at least commenting) on this already.
This is (most likely) due to file io working on 32-bit, which is limited to about 4m.

File I/O has changed since r4771, it should use 64-bit on all platforms. Someone on
OS X and Linux should confirm.
