Like 2862 issue, this happens in Windows too. It seems that only with some BT dongles or wiimotes. In the forum there's a large thread with people with the same problem, if you need more info.

My problem was with the wiimote. After a lots of tests, I changed the wiimotes and now all works OK. The earliers wiimotes works with the wii without problem, but they didn't work in Dolphin. The new wiimotes work with wii and with dolphin.
Regards!

Now that the connection issue is fixed, there seems to be an issue with wiimote response while vibration is activated. This also makes it so you can't reset the wiimote through settings, you have to use the reset button on the wiimote. In Super Mario Bros, you can tilt the wiimote to change the angle of a ladder, but it interferes with the rest of the functions like jumping and running. You cannot pick things up because that involves the shake function.

Same thing in r6325. This is with the prebuilt versions from Macadam.

The workaround is currently to open the wiimote configuration window first before starting a game.

Should be fine now with r6649. Just be sure to refresh the real wiimotes using the wiimote configuration window before starting a game for now.
