I have to report that I have gone back and tried to repeat this problem, and it repeats every single time.

Did you try playing arround with EFB Copy options?
Updated by zerianis10 almost 14 years ago
Yep... tried turning it off, tried turning it on and running it as both Texture and RAM, tried turning the cache on and off, tried turning the Accurate Texture Cache on and off and fooling around with the safe, normal and fast setting there.... nothing worked to make the Horde appear.

Do you have BBox emulation enabled in your game config?
Updated by jonathan22898 almost 13 years ago
After turning on the BBox option, I get an error while loading the Paper Mario save.

Something else to add: I get this error also. I tried turning off Dual Core but no change.

This is a bump.. but any horde issues (including the X-Naut army in the beginning of the game surrounding Mario) were fixed by the pre-texture cache branch merge a while back. I have confirmed several of these horde issues to be fixed. Check again.
