Description

Is it possible to add an option to the graphics so when you go full screen you could get it to use the second display if you wanted, i have a TV connected as my second display and even though i can drag the game window to the second display when i switch to full screen it reverts back to the main display so at the moment I'm having to constantly use window mode if i want to use display 2. Just an idea also if you could do this would you still be able to accept input from the wiimote/controller if the game window is not in focus as it would be really good if someone else could say browse the internet on display 1 while display 2 has the game on it. Don't know if this could be added or not but I'm keeping my fingers crossed it can.

BTW cheers to all the devs for their hard work on the emulator, i know sometimes it may not seem like it but we all do appreciate you donating your spare time and effort.

This really belongs in the forums as this is not an issue. But unless you have a really powerful computer with a uber graphics card I would not recommend trying to do dual displays with dolphin as dolphin already requires a tremendous amount of CPU and other resources. And no you could not browse the internet while playing games. As soon as you have clicked with the mouse out of game on your second display, windows will automatically change focus and usually minimize a full screen program. You could however keep a web page open on one screen to say a Game Guide and play your game on the other screen. As long as you are not clicking on the other screen you should be fine. But as you mentioned, with dolphins current implementation you would only be able to do this in windows mode.

What options can you select in the "adapter" choice of the video config dialog in D3D9?

i didnt mean dual display, i was talking about having the render window open on which ever display you prefer. so you could have it display just on the monitor as normal or have it display on your second device like a hd tv but not on both at once. i asked this because i normally have my pc connected to my tv which allows me to watch a movie on my tv from my pc hard drive and still use my main display to surf the net at the same time. in the adapter choice all i get is nvidia gt260. if you look at mame theres a drop down list that has Display 1, Display 2, Display 3 etc. depending on how many devices you have connected to your graphics card, if i then selected display 2 and ran a game it would render to that display(which would be my tv) leaving my main one(my monitor) free to carry on doing whatever.
