Description

In some games when the battery is low happens some things. Would be nice to add a option in the emulated wiimote config to simulate low battery charge.

Is it a joke?

I don't know what to think about this one. On the one hand, putting it in would mostly be for completeness' sake, which is cool. On the other hand, do any games require you have a low battery to progress? If not, it seems unnecessary.

My request It's mostly for completeness' sake. I think it is easy to implement this my idea. If someone has the knowledge will do it in few minutes.

Your "idea" is useless: why do you need a low battery alert when emulated Wiimote doesn't use any batteries?!?

First 5 seconds. The purple fat guy tell something that you never read without low battery.

It is only an example.

It could be possible though. Think Metal Gear Solid or Wario games.

Low battery warning is used for telling you that your Wiimote batteries are gonna "die" in few minutes, so you can decide to go on anyway or stop and recharge your batteries; having an option to tell you that your batteries are low while you're using a device that doesn't use batteries is simply the craziest thing that I've ever heard.

It's very sad that my request isn't accepted. If there is a technical problem i accept it but if it's discarded only because you think it is useless i'm very bored. Emulation goal is to reproduce an hardware very close implementing all the possible feature of it.

If you think it is useless, i give you another example. If i want to translate a game, i must check all the possible text in the game, and some text appear only when wiimote are low in charge.

Then why don't we emulate a broken Wii? Real Wii could get broken, so adding an option called "broken Wii" we could perfectly emulate it forcing Dolphin to always show a black screen:-)

Have you some problem with me? Your words are useless, not my request. You talk of broken wii. It's a nonsense.

However if in the future someone would emulate an useless man, you're the prototype.

If everyone don't do something because "seems" useless the human race would be to the prehistoric age.

Also binary digit when invented seems useless but now permit you to play with dolphin emulator.

(If there is grammar error, english isn't my language)

Good bye great guru.
