Description
What's the problem?
i can't play with 4 wiimotes
Dolphin version with the problem (as it appears in the title bar, Ex.: "R
4779" or "R 6403M"):
R7661
Operating system and version:
32-bit or 64-bit:
Windows 7 x64
Please provide any additional information below.
i can connect 4 wiimotes to my pc and dolphin recognize all of them but when i open a game (i've tried wii sports, sports resort, mario kart) 1 random wiimote disconnects. the game can't recognize it but the light on it it's still on. if i press ALT+F# (where # is the number of the disconnected wiimote) dolphin says that it is connected but i can't disconnect it ingame. if i close the game and go to wiimote settings it still says 4 wiimotes connected and if i refresh all of them respond. dolphin can see all the controllers but when i open the game one of them just doesn't work
Does 3 work perfectly in the same games?
Are all 4 of yours equal (all Plus, all with or without nunchuck)
#4 is special as there was some attempt to add support for the Balance Board - which uses slot #4. I wonder if the (partial) code in Dolphin is causing grief with the normal wiimotes.
3 wiimotes work perfectly in all of the games.
1 of the controller if i play with 4 wiimotes is without the motion plus (the others have it inside) but most of the games i've tried don't use plus and i've played without nunchuck.
anyway that controller isn't always the one that get disconnected. it's random.

-What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Connect more than 2 emulated wiimotes in the Dolphin emulator. 2 controllers work fine, more than that don't.
-What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to have 3-4 wiimotes working at the same time. When you connect more than 2, connection to some controllers get lost or the input simply doesn't work.
-What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
All the latest dolphin builds have this bug. Having 4 emulated wiimotes stopped working together correctly, after the option to disable the wiimote speaker was taken away with r7272.
-Please provide any additional information below.
I think this issue could be fixed, by adding an option to completely (globally) disable the wiimote speaker. Disabling the wiimote speaker in the ingame options doesn't seem to completely disable the wiimote speaker. And I think the wiimote speaker is the root of this problem.

I have quoted first post because is the same that happens to me. Tried with 2 oem and 4 original wiimotes. The only solution was to use 7095 svn .exe, no problem to play with all controllers connected at same time.
disable the wiimote speaker in the properties
- Status changed from New to Work started
- Status changed from Work started to Fixed
i had the same problem, your build fixed it ( I have 4 exactly same orig. Wiiremotes without plus)
thx
