I enabled a gecko code in NSMBWii. It worked as expected.
If some specific code causes a crash you obviously need to provide the code.

Cheats that don't work:
Moon jump
Invinsibilty
All infinity items
Quick save to regular
Actually, these are most important for me and they all cause dolphin crash.
If you need a proof, I can post a screenshot.

Double check that the "codehandler.bin" file is in the Sys folder. This is the Gecko cheat engine. If the file is not there, Dolphin uses its own cheat emulation which works with some but not all cheats.

Yes, it's missing. Where can I find it? Maybe in older version?

It is inside the zip of the latest version from the official site:

It works for me. Make sure you have "Enable Cheats" checked. Maybe you have too many cheats enabled at the same time?

Still not working even with version 3.5-392... Please I really need help. :
Edit: It worked with 3.5, but when I replaced the file from 3.5-392 with the 3.5 one, it didn't work... I moved it from the Sys folder and I started the game. It started normaly, but cheats didn't work. Also I enabled "Enable Cheats".
Another Edit: Only some cheats don't work, other worked without the file in the Sys folder. So this may be considered as solved... someway, but please fix it in next version.

I have the same problem, I have trouble with games. (My fingers do not work right I swear.)
So cheats are sometimes a must, I can do fine with games you play with the controllers, but with the keyboard I get trouble remembering where, and what the buttons are. Plus the parts I could never get past before... cheats make thing easier for those parts.
(right now I am stuck at a mini boss fight sorta in Eternal darkness sanity requiem. So I want to use a full life code, so that I could at least get a full health bar in order to get past this part.)
When I tried to do the same thing as was stated... it didn't work. I found 'codehandler' and I thought just click dragging it over to dolphin 3.5 would work just fine, it didn't. I tried to change it so that it did the 'open with 3.5' it didn't work either. So... question I have is that are my saves with 3.5 compatible with 3? So I can use cheats?
