Game Name?
NCIS Game

Game ID?
SNBP41

What went wrong?
During gameplay and at the main menu, you get a hugh slowdown (making the game almost unplayable). Setting EFB copies to RAM fixes this slowdown completely (maybe you should add this to the game.ini?)

What did you expect to happen instead?
No slowdown.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
[Don't assume we have played the game and know its level names. Be as
detailed as possible.]
1.Start any level or look at the main menu.

Dolphin 3.5 and Dolphin 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs. Have you tested with the latest version from
http://dolphin-emu.org/download ?
Yes.

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
3.5-2245

Which version of Dolphin used to work?
Not tested.

What are your PC specifications (example: Operating System, CPU and GPU)?

64 or 32 bit Operating System?

No game gets a speed up from Efb to Ram and this one is no different. Efb to Ram won't fix the slowdowns in this game. Try disabling logger outputs to console and to window, the game throws a texture loading error constantly and eventually after a while this will make it crawl. Efb to ram doesn't fix the error or the slowdown.

This though made me wonder whether reports of games getting slower with dolphin as time goes by is due to the logger...

Changing status to grab some attention to the issue as it seems to have a different cause...

Sorry, but after setting EFB to RAM, the slowdown was solved on my side. Will test it further tomorrow.

I tested it again and indeedly setting EFB copies to RAM fixes the slowdown for me.

Basically could you tell me whether performance steadily drops or not after playing for a while with efb to Ram? Because that was the case here if i didn't disable the logger.

But when McGee does investigating, the slowdown is back, but after that, the speed is back to normal. But how do I disable the logger? Will test it more.

The FPS speed is not very fast with AFB copies set to RAM (around 17 FPS was the worst.) But the speed is at 100% almost all time. After playing for more than ten minutes, nothing said about the investigation with McGee, I didn't see any slowdowns.
