Game Name?
Monster Hunter Tri

Game ID?
RMHE08

What went wrong?
The game acts as if there is no input from my gamepad even though it is well set up. I have tried other games such as Super Smash Bros Brawl and they detect the input correctly.

What did you expect to happen instead?
I expected the game to detect the input from the emulated gamecube controller.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.
2.
3.

Dolphin 3.5 and Dolphin 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs. Have you tested with the latest version from
http://dolphin-emu.org/download ?
Yes

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
Latest and 3.5-367

Which version of Dolphin used to work?
None

What are your PC specifications (example: Operating System, CPU and GPU)?
Windows 7. The rest probably is not relevant to the problem.

64 or 32 bit Operating System?
64 bit

64 or 32 bit Dolphin?
64 bit

Any other relevant information (e.g. logs, screenshots, configuration
files)
Again, the gamecube controller works on any other games I have tested it on.
The game controller is a PS3 controller using MotioninJoy

Thanks for your time!

Monster Hunter Tri doesn't read the GameCube controller by default, I believe you have to go in the game and set it. On Wii, I had to use a Wiimote to get to that point, at least, but it's been a few years so I could be wrong.

Basically this game doesn't use the GameCube controller because it was one of the games that were meant to make people buy the classic controller pro.
