What went wrong? boss does not appear when the small smorgs cluster but not expand into the boss

What did you expect to happen instead? the boss shouldve expanded from the smaller smorgs clustering together

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.this is on chapter 6 of the game
2.u should be heading to poshley heights on a train for 3 days
3.on the third day u find smorgs r attacking the train after talking to the train driver
4.u go to the back of the train to save to of the passengers surrounded by the smorgs
5.after saving them the smorgs leave the cabin through the left exit, and u go after them using the super jump skill u learned in the second day of the train ride
6. when u come out u see the roof of the cabin surrounded with alot of smorgs, which u have to cross through to find the boss waiting at the end ot the mass piles of smorgs
7.the smorgs will cluster after u reach a certain point of the roof and a boss should expand from the cluster, but in my case the cluster does not expand at all.

Dolphin 3.5 and Dolphin 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs. Have you tested with the latest version from
http://dolphin-emu.org/download ? i have but i have a problem with transferring my saved data from dolphin 3.5 to 4.0. i dont know wat to do. i have moved the user file from 3.5 to 4.0 but nothing works.
