Description

I'm compiling retroarch for wii and wanted to make the testing less painful through using dolphin.Unfortunately dolphin crashes when trying to start it.
I tried it with the newest dolphin version from git and I tried all 3 emulator cores the interpreter just shows a black screen, the jit crashes and the experimental jit hangs.
You can try it with http://themaister.net/retroarch-dl/gx/
It works perfectly on the original hardware.

Fill out the issue template properly please. Especially the "steps" to reproduce. Especially the "how to reproduce" part should make it obvious how much work is required to reproduce the issue..

Running vba-next crashes because mkdir fails. GetDevice() returns -1 and is used blindly.

Which application have you tested on actual hardware and works fine ?

Snes and vba-next work both without problems.NX Engine does work as well.
But all cores where tested (even thought not from me personally)
