What went wrong?
Dolphin no longer recognizes my controller, which is being paired on an x86_64 Gentoo Linux system. Dolphin 4.0 works perfectly, it's only the latest git revisions that it has broken. I'm using sixad as the utility to pair the controller to my computer, and the controller still works perfectly with joytest and retroarch so I can confirm that it is only Dolphin doing this.
What did you expect to happen instead?
The PS3 controller should be recognized and work as expected, the mapping is even created for it already. It's just gone from the dropbox and doesn't work ingame
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Use sixpair utility with a mini USB to pair DualShock 3 controller to computer
- Start sixad as a daemon or with "sixad -s&" as root
- Pair PS3 controller
- Turn on Dolphin and check GC Pad settings, only keyboard and mouse will show up
Dolphin 3.5 and Dolphin 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs. Have you tested with the latest version from
