Description

Game Name?
At least Donkey Kong Country Returns

Game ID?
SF8P01

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
The game starts to give "Jump target too far away, needs force5Bytes = true" alerts shortly after start screen, and Dolphin crashes before 1st level starts.

What did you expect to happen instead?
Dolphin not to crash / give errors.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Set options to JIT (default).
  2. Start the game, enter title screen, try to start a game.
  3. The game crashes.

Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0-1824 works, 4.0-1839 don't. (the culprit merge = Jit64 RegCache cleanup (PR #479 from Sonicadvance1))

Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
See above.

What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)
Intel i5-4760S, Intel HD 4600, Win8.1 64 bit.

Are you using the 32 or the 64 bit version of Dolphin?
64bit

Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)
No.
