What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
The black bars aren't appearing when targeting (Pressing Z button), offset parts of the screen are showing up on the same position instead.
What did you expect to happen instead?
Black bars appearing when targeting with Z.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Starting the game as normal
- When controlling Link, press T-button to target.
- "Weird parts" of the screen will show up instead .
Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
Versions:
- 4.0.5390
- 4.0.5384
- 4.0.5332
reproduces the same issue.
Only:
- 4.0.2
- 4.0.1843
are displaying the black bars as it should.
What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating

Okay, you have a projection hack enabled in your INI. Remove it.
We saw this issue earlier. Umm, is it there by default? Paging Kosta.

There is no projection hack enabled or even existing in the ini by default, but how do you know he had a projection hack enabled in the ini?

Thanks for the quick fix.
In the ini file, there was ProjectionHack on 1, changed it to 0, which solved Issue 8185 as well.
