Description

I don't know if this is happening to other people, but after versions 4.0.6xxx, whenever I open the Cheat Manager, check a cheat, and go back to the game - the cheat gets automatically unchecked.

I left the Cheat Manager window open as a test, and indeed, as soon as I go back to the game the cheats get unchecked.

Unable to reproduce. What OS are you using? Also, could you explain what steps you're taking exactly? ("Go back to the game", did you pause the game and unpause or did you restart the game?)

Windows 7 x64

I start the game, open Cheat Manager, I place it on the side of the emu window, check the cheat, hit apply, click the emu window to restore the focus to it, and the cheat gets unchecked automatically. It happens regardless if I pause the emulator or not.

Last version I used 4.0.54 worked fine. Last versions have the problem I'm reporting. I even went back down to 4.0.6 and the problem happened there too. Went back to 4.0.54 and it works fine.

Just a random idea but are you running Dolphin as an administrator? I don't know why that would matter but that something I always do as a force-of-habit.

I haven't had a single issue since I started using Dolphin 4.0-6027. I'm using the latest version (latest is 4.0-6056 at the time of this post) and still no issues.

I just click on the exe, I don't select to run as an administrator. At least, I don't know if it's running as such by default though.

But if no one else has that issue, then it must be a problem with old configuration files causing a problem with the new ones I guess.

There are two ways to enable running as an administrator; one is a temporary way and the other way is a permanent way. The temporary way is to right-click the exe and select to run as an administrator. The permanent way is to right-click the exe and select properties, click the compatibility tab of the properties window that shows up, and find the setting that runs as administrator.

All the "Run as Admin" options are unchecked, so I assume it is not running as admin.

But forget it, you can close this issue now. I tried version 4.0-6068 and it works properly for me now.

Thanks for the help.
