Description

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
You can chose any language you want for Dolphin, when you restart it, it is still displayed in English on Linux and OS X. It works fine on Windows.

What did you expect to happen instead?
Show Dolphin's UI in the selected language on OS X and Linux.

Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
It worked on some very old builds (like 2.0-rxxxx) on OS X (not tested on Linux).

What language is this? I tested it in Japanese on Linux and could find no issues.

I did not test very recently on Linux (although it has been confirmed a few weeks ago that it did ont work), but with 4.0-6820 on a Mac (10.9.5) the language remains displayed in English (tried with French, System Language and Japanese).

So I tested it in both French and Japanese and both only have a small portion translated, is this what you are getting? I have attached a screenshot.
(At first I assumed that Japanese was just incomplete but in both cases exactly the same words are left untranslated!)

This is probably because you have a very old french translation file stored at the right place on your hard drive, which is interresting. The french translation is fully complete (I checked on Windows build). So, for an unknown reason, you have the old translation files stored somewhere, and they have not been replaced by the latest ones. That probably means that there is a problem in copying / storing / loading / building the files in the right directory on Linux, and that is interresting.
However, on Mac, no word is translated and everything remains in English.

Commit 6d2631a173f0ee76d46bda6723ca757a1455b439 (4.0-6836) fixes the translations (I just tested on my Mac; if someone can test on Linux we could then put this issue as fixed).
Thanks!
