Description

Game Name?
Silent Hill: Shattered memories, but it might be any?

Game ID?
R5WEA4

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
Crash with WxWidgets error.

What did you expect to happen instead?
No crash.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Open game.
  2. Go to Dolphin Graphics properties and change Internal Resolution.
  3. Close Graphics Properties.

Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0-6820

Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
Unsure.

What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)
Geforce 880m, Core-i7 4810MQ, 16gb ram, windows 8.1 64-bit.

Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)

Please bisect the issue down to the problem build, as i'm not running into it.

Um...huh...couldn't reproduce it just now, so there must be some very specific trigger I'm missing.
Does the error message mean anything?

It's probably the enigma that is WXWidgets... I couldn't tell you.

If you can't reproduce this again, I'm going to assume it's a WXWidgets bug and close the issue... it's just going to sit around if we don't.

Sorry :(

Well, if it's not something that can be fixed (no reliable reproduction) and the error message means nothing, I guess closing this ticket is the logical option.

Do you have any modifications to your gameini?

I don't think so.

Does this issue still happen in the newest development version?

Not actually sure...it happened randomly and I had no idea what triggered it, so I don't know how to test to reproduce it. D:
If the new version didn't fix it, maybe PR3142 will. shrug

Is this still an issue? If the bug cannot be reproduced perhaps this report should be closed.

  • Status changed from New to Invalid

Yeah, let's close it for now. We can reopen it if anyone manages to reproduce it.
