Description

Game Name?

Game ID? (right click the game in the game list, properties, info tab)

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

Upon launching super monkey ball 2 in netplay mode, it slows down, and acts jittery, shortly after launching, it crashes.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

simply launch it in netplay, it works fine in single player

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?

I tryed it on 4.0-9081, which produced this issue, it works fine on stable 4.0.2 however, it desyncs almost instantly.

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

CPU: I7 3770 3.4 GHz
GPU: MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
OS: Windows 10
my other two friends who tried it, even with no one else in the netplay lobby, had the same results, so I'm not sure if system specs matter.

Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)

Run it in single core instead of dualcore. Netplay's dualcore mode does not support super monkey ball 2

Forgive my ignorance, but is this not running the game in single core mode? http://i.imgur.com/Sr1m0pN.png

If it is, it is still flashing, then crashing.

Wait, I found it and its working, thanks a bunch!

Netplay can override settings you set if your friend is not using the same settings (to prevent desyncs.)

Anyway, if you have any further issues I'll leave this issue open a while before merging it into the deterministic dualcore issues.

  • Status changed from New to Invalid

Closing from it seemingly being resolved by settings changes.
