Can't reproduce any of these issues.

Are you sure there isn't something else enabled? Cheatcodes? Something?

I'm totally sure, tested with a clean install of dolphin and all settings by default "except the gfx backend > vulkan and the antialiasing > msaa 4x" only crashes with that combination of vulkan + antialiasing.

I had my brother test on his GTX 970 and he was able to run NSMBWii just fine. I'm leaning toward something being wrong on your end now.

NSMB Wii Works with the intro, the menus, etc. The crash is when you try to start a level. Does he tried this?

For me, the game runs just fine too on vulkan. Also no crashing when I try to start a level.

Strange, then i'll try to test it with old nvidia drivers and see what happens.

I get a device lost error on my system when playing back the NSMBW fifolog, but only with MSAA enabled.

Can you try this PR: https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/5931 and see if it makes a difference.
Windows build: https://dl.dolphin-emu.org/prs/pr-5931-dolphin-latest-x64.7z

edit: for the record I'm using the 382.88 NV developer driver

Yes, i always use 4x MSAA, maybe the problem is that.

I'll try that build when i return from holidays, in 5 days, my PC is at my home.

Thanks!

There's a new PR for this issue, 6011: https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/6011
Should still solve the issue, but not result in a potential performance drop for mobile/tilers.
