Emulator Issues #1071
closedGFX Only rendering half of frames in some games.
0%
Description
Ever since i tried r36xx builds, games like SSBM and SSBB only render half
of the frames the fps counter shows.
Must say that games don't slow down, it's just that the graphics seem to be
skipping frames that should be rendered.
I tried on SC, DC, Idle skipping, etc. It's the same effect.
It doesn't happen in SA2B.

I have this too in r3626. But if check options "Copy EFB to system RAM" and "Use
Safe texture cache" aprox. a quarter of frames skipes but they skiped. Why? And why
speed down if I tested in r3402 and r3626?

The framerate counter changed - now, it displays field rate, even though some games
like Zelda:WW only draw the screen at 30fps.

yeah SSBB runs at the same speed but is much choppier now!

Damn, i left this one unattended.
Must say, ever since revs 38xx, i don't have this issue anymore, with the Smash Bros
Games. Using ATI with catalyst 8.12 though.
If there are still problems for some users, i'm not aware of it.

Everything is fine there...

Sorry, can't answer now, as long as frameskipper gets in my way (setting it to zero
has no effect, it always stays on 1 or any previous value) will test tomorrow.
