The Wii Remote's POWER button does not work properly in passthrough

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
Pressing the POWER button on the Wii Remote will neither shut down the emulated console nor start it when it is off. (Tested with Bluetooth passthrough)
Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?
Not tested because I did not want to reinstall my original Bluetooth driver.
Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)
