Emulator Issues #11523
closedQt/macOS: Text and UI rendering issues on Mojave
0%
Description
See attached screenshots.
Backgrounds are missing from all tabbed menus, and almost all text is low-res. Dark mode and accent color support are also missing, but these are much lower priority.
I've heard there are many UI issues with Qt on Mojave that are fixed by updating to Qt 5.12 (but I'm not sure what Qt version Dolphin is using currently).

I've seen this a fair bit but didn't bother to make a report. So this doesn't occur in High Sierra, so this is very likely a Qt bug, not a Dolphin bug.

Qt 5.12 fixes these issues.

The macOS buildbot uses Qt 5.12 now but it's down right now.
Once it's up again that build should be used for "Fixed in".

That's great. Do you have any idea when the macOS builtbot will be back online?

Actually, it looks like the buildbot has been using Qt 5.12 for Mac since 5.0-9429 (but it's been down since 5.0-9431). So this was fixed in 5.0-9429.
