What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
DX12::DXTexture::Create failed in c:\buildbot\release-win-
x64\build\source\core\videobackends\d3d12\dxtexture.cpp at
line 113: Create D3D12 texture resource
and
DX12::DXStagingTexture::Map failed in c:\buildbot\release-win-
x64\build\source\core\videobackends\d3d12\dxtexture.cpp at
line 593: Map resource
It also has to recompile the shaders every time but that was already reported.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Earlier I got the first warning by just starting the game, now I can go a far as right before the race when I got the second warning.
Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.
Is the issue present in the latest stable version?
If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)
If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer
What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)
Intel Core i5-7260U
Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 (24.20.100.6286)
Windows 10
Dolphin on Vulkan crashes on my system so I'm blaming the drivers.
Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)
Same warning even on default settings (w/DX12).

WTH it's working now... so I guess this is a duplicate of #11656

if you can narrow down what kind of instructions are needed for this to happen, please let us know. Thanks.

OK it's back to not working. It's so random, yesterday it "crashed" after creating a license (on default settings) and today I reset it again and it crashed after selecting a character. I have no idea how I can help you solve this.

An update from Windows 10 1607 to 1809 fixed this (so far). No driver update required.

- Status changed from New to Invalid
Going to close this. If the AMD driver issues still occur, we can open a new issue for it.

FYI, it was actually an Intel (not AMD) GPU. Also, back then I didn't really test it thoroughly, so I can't say if a Dolphin/Windows/Driver update even fixed it (at all). I don't really play much Dolphin these days, much less DX12, and AFAICT nobody came forward with a similar issue, so I guess it's fixed (instead of just "Invalid").
