Description

I would love to see the possibility of alternative input methods on the Dolphin UI home screen instead of just keyboard and mouse, such as allowing xinput or any game controller to navigate the interface.

This may require a few refinements while using a controller as an input, such as hiding the "File" menus at the top while a controller is actively in use, restoring those menus to the top as the user switches back to mouse input.

That would be definitely helpful for users which play on a tv and don't have a mouse ready.
According to the last dolphin progress report the GUI for Cheat Management was updated on android. Let's hope that we get something similar for x64.
The no-gui mode of duckstation is also a good example: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/stenzek/duckstation/md-images/tof.jpg

Someone please do this!<3 My mini PC is attached to a monitor and games that run off this machine run through a gamepad controlled front-end to avoid having to use a keyboard and mouse. dolphin in its current form forces a keyboard and mouse to be necessary to this otherwise mainly portable setup.
