What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
Default settings. In Wii version I have pink or green line at the bottom of the screen. In GC version screen flashes pink when I quit inventory menu. If I check hack "immediately present XFB", the issue disappears. But introduced a different issue. Grey or brown screen flashes when I change menus or a scene in the game changes. Plus when shaders compile, the game shows unfinished geometry for few a few moments.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
On default settings:
- Pink screen flash. Only GC. Enter and quit inventory.
- Green or pink line at the bottom of the screen. Affects only Wii versions. Present almost constantly ingame.
- Grey/brown screen flash. Both GC and Wii. Enable "immediately present XFB". The most noticeable before any video cutscene. After starting the game, for example.
- Unfinished geometry is shown when shaders are being processed. Both GC and Wii. Enable "immediately present XFB". Talk to driver right in the beginning or basically any action that requires extra shader work.
Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.
Tried it on version 11333 and then on 11516.
Is the issue present in the latest stable version?
Green/pink line (Wii) plus flashing pink/green screen (GC) appear if XFB (real) is enabled. If disabled, then gray/brown screen appears and incomplete geometry. If "virtual" used, both issues seem to disappear.
If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer
Added a screenshot from Wii. These issues are extremely easy to reproduce.
