What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
[When setting a setting in the Wii Settings of the Wii Menu, when you exit out of the emulation, then go back into the Wii Menu, the changes you made do not save. In particular, setting Wiiconnect24 Standby to On, then exiting the emulator, will cause it to be set to off again.]
What steps will reproduce the problem?
[Launch the Wii Menu. Go to Wii Settings. Set Standby mode for Wiiconnect24 to On, for it is usually Off. Exit out of the Wii Menu, and go back into it, and it will be Off again.]
Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.
[I am using development version 5.0-13374]
Is the issue present in the latest stable version?
[Untested, as I wish to use RiiConnect24, which the latest stable version cannot do, from what I know.]
What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)
[Windows 10 Pro Build 19042
NVIDIA GTX 970
Intel Core i5-4690k
Z97X-UD5H-BK Motherboard]
Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)
[Currently, no, but can provide files, as needed]

- Status changed from New to Working as intended
Dolphin disables standby mode so that the emulated console actually shuts down when you stop emulation without requiring a force shutdown.
We can revisit this later if WC24 is implemented.
