Description

It's a weird story, just 1-2 weeks ago everything was fine. And from one moment to the next, it happened, without updating or changing anything. When launching the game, the emu shuts down. I reinstalled - no change. I updated - no change. Then I removed the config files and found out, that GCPadNew.ini causes the issue.
If it only contains the keyboard keys I have no issue. However if I map just one gamepad button the emu will crash when launching the game. This happens only with one of my games though, and only on my Lubuntu device. Windows doesn't have this issue.

The game is: Harvest Moon: A wonderful Life

My device is an Intel NUC8i3BEH

  • CPU: i3-8109U
  • GPU: Intel HD Graphics 655

Emu version: First happened on 5.0-15518, atm I'm on 5.0-15571

can be closed. a mistake in the universal dynamic input textures pack caused the crash.

Do you still have the pack that caused the crash? If something like a bad configuration file can crash Dolphin that's a problem that should be fixed on the emulator side, not the config side.

It crashed because the json file that was created by the dit creator tool linked to a folder that didn't exist.
I already talked to iwubcode about the issue.
