Description

Not sure when this issue began, but for a while, running this game with BT passthrough is impossible, cause it will not connect the controller(s) at all, or there's constantly drop outs.

This is basically what happens:

I start the game, I try to connect my Wiimote, and it will just not connect - except later (while constantly pressing buttons to make it retry) it will, only to drop out after a while.

It's like the connection is active intermittently as expected, and then it's not - rinse and repeat till the end of time.

This is an issue I don't have with any other game from what I can recall; they just connect - one controller, multiple controllers, doesn't matter - all the other games just work as expected regarding the controller connection through BT passthrough.

Here are some details:

  • I'm using the Orico BTA-403, and while testing I'm only using 1P, so I'm avoiding the known issue with multiple remotes seen here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Bluetooth_Passthrough
  • I'm always using the latest dev build while testing this.
  • I'm currently running Windows 11 as my OS, but I'm pretty certain that this has issue long before Windows 11 was even released.
  • The only thing that's modified with the game is that I'm running it with a texture pack; loading custom textures and precaching them, which is something I do for every game that's a great one available.

Tell me if you need more details.
