- Start Game
- Choose Battle
- Confirm player selection
- Crashes when players should be choosing their avatar

I still had an old build from 14th of June 2021 lying around - that one works fine.

I can't reproduce the issue, and there's some specific information missing from this issue report that makes it hard to figure out what's wrong. I suggest bisecting to an exact build that caused your regression so that we can better assist you.

Unfortunately, the stack trace doesn't contain any useful hints.

This might be the same as issue 12762. Could you test the pull request linked in that issue?
