What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
I use a real Wii Remote to play on Dolphin Beta. I played it for the first time after updating Dolphin, and it synced fine. But the instant I started moving my Wii Remote, it rapidly started disconnecting and reconnecting, to the point where there wasn't a gap in the vibrations it made each time.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Plug Mayflash Dolphinbar into the computer.
- Open Dolphin.
- Go to "Tools > Load Wii System Menu 4.3U".
- Sync Wii Remote by pressing A+B or 1+2.
- Afterwards, the issue happens sporadically.
Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.
I believe the Beta versions are based on the development versions.
Version is Dolphin 5.0-16380
Is the issue present in the latest stable version?
[Yes/No and version number here]
If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)
[First broken version number here (if applicable)]
If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer
[Attach any fifologs if possible, write a description of fifologs and screenshots here to assist people unfamiliar with the game.]
What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)
Computer is a MacBook Air (M1, 2020)
CPU: Apple M1
GPU: Integrated 8-core
OS: macOS Monterey 12.4
RAM: 8 GB
Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)

Waitβ I just tried using the Wiimote again, and it's working perfectly fine now. I'm not sure what happened before then.

Never mind, it started happening again. It disconnected after clicking A, and then it went back to randomly disconnecting and reconnecting just from moving it.

By "it" do you mean the Mayflash Dolphinbar or the Wii Remote?
What type of Wii Remote do you have? Is it a RVL-CNT-01-TR? Is it an original Wii Remote from Nintendo?

By "it" I meant the Wii Remote, but I'm actually not sure whether the cause is the Wii Remote, DolphinBar, or Dolphin itself. I only know that I haven't had problems before this Dolphin version.
It is an original Wii Remote from Nintendo. It's not -TR (no built-in MotionPlus).

Please bisect to an exact build if it doesn't happen in older builds.

I downgraded to 5.0-15993, and it turns out that the same problem is happening. So this might not be a Dolphin problem then π

- Status changed from New to Invalid
Can't be reproduced by any of us unfortunately, so nothing can be done.

Hrm...if the issue can't be reproduced, then I guess I'll have to face the fact that it might be an issue with either my DolphinBar or Wiimote......π
The issue is still occurring, so could it potentially be a problem with the Wiimote or DolphinBar?
