Are you sure there wasn't a problem in the FPS counter? Because it's kinda weird you're getting less FPS inside domes than outside... Could you post your specs please? Just curious to know what computer can possible run at 60fps on the observatory with efb x3... AND WITH VISTA!?!?! =O

At pic 1, I normally get 60fps, but at pic 2 I get about 35FPS and at 3 I always get way over 60fps... o.O but not with efb x3...

And I must also point that there have been graphics correction between these 2 versions... Just check the Lumas and you'll see what I'm talking about...

I think EFB 3x is more intensive on the CPU/GPU especially when used in combination with Anti-Aliasing, at least that is what I believe I read, so slowdowns are normal. Use Auto-Fractional or Auto-Integral with lower Anti-Aliasing for best performance.

Q9650 @ 3.8Ghz
Geforce 260 GTX Oced
6GB RAM
HD1: 320GB
HD2: 500GB

Im using the same cofig in both builds including EFB 3x and SSAA (and my hardware is the same):

Config in Rev. 5632:

Config in Rev. 5758:

Or maybe my hardware is not enough? :S (i don't think so).

antileecher: can you test disabling csync as the reccent changes in fifo are very sensitive to syncronization and vsync seems to make it work a lot slower

@marcel.w
Besides the Luma's fix, it seems like r5632 is not actually using SSAA... Funny... that might be the problem...

@rodolfo:

A pic without Vsync:

A minor speed up (+4FPS). Maybe the SSAA feature is not working correctly in rev 5632.

What u think?
