Emulator Issues #2934
closedSome AR Codes/Cheats do not work correctly anymore

Description
(NOTE: I'm pretty sure someone made an issue about this somewhere, but from quickly browsing about the issue list, I couldn't find anything pertaining to this problem in particular. If you see a duplicate, feel free to merge the issue.)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
-Make sure you have a later revision, like 5885-
- For this example, load up Pikmin for the Gamecube with the "D-Pad Up Displays Debug Info" code enabled and with the "Enable Cheats" setting enabled in the Properties.
- Go into the actual and press up on the d-pad
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect this to happen:

Instead, the emulator completely shuts down. Not error messages of any sort show up.
Dolphin version with the problem? Other Dolphin version without the
problem?
I tested Dolphin revisions 4727 and 5885 x64, both crash the emulator. However, revision 4225 works the way it's supposed to.
32-bit or 64-bit and any other build parameters?
64 Bit
OS version and versions of tools/libraries used?
Windows 7 x64
Please provide any additional information below.
PLEASE NOTE: Don't get the impression that it's just this code and game in particular. Not only does this code work on real hardware as well, but it's not just this game that has problems. For example, using Super Smash Bros Melee debug code crashes the emulator as well. The PAL version Luigi's Mansion has a small debug code:
UH8N-EMX9-5BXTY
GYXM-ZBFW-F4RDC
Which is supposed to produce this:

However, the game will crash if you try to skip a cutscene, or even just let the cutscene run until it ends. It only works in the gallery, but on actual hardware and on revision 4225 it works the way it should. I don't know if it's just debug codes in particular or what, but something is definitely broken.
The only problem is that I don't know what revision change broke this. But I wanted to let you know that something is broken and should be looked at.
