What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. go to the toilet when you are playing/testing a wii game

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Be able to reconnect the emulated device and continue to play

is impossible to reconnect the emulated device.
I tried with multiple keys/buttons, using the Connect Wiimote 1 etc... in the tools tabs on main dolphin window.
