Description

What's the problem?
When you are in a save room on Resident Evil Remake or Zero the music is only playing a few notes and skipping many.

Dolphin version with the problem (as it appears in the title bar, Ex.: "R
4779" or "R 6403M"):r7127

(optional) Dolphin version that does not have the problem:

Operating system and version: Windows Vista
32-bit or 64-bit: 64-bit

Game ID (as it appears in game properties, Ex.: "GZ2P01" or "RSBE01"):
GBZE08 & GBIE08
Build command-line (not on Windows):

Was the ISO a plain dump from disc, compressed and/or scrubbed?
Compressed into GCM.
Please provide any additional information below.
I'm not sure about other music. I have only played the GC versions. I don't know if this only affects GCM.

Yep. I got this issue with GC Games.
Try with the Resident Evil Archives: Zero & Rebirth, works really fine! No sound issues.

Known and duplicate issue, use the LLE plugin or play the Wii versions of the games to fix, the issue likely won't be fixed with HLE audio emulation for the Gamecube versions of the games.

This issue has been reported in the past, this is true, but why HLE it neglected and the issue is not going to be fixed? RE2 and RE3 suffer the same issue.

Because HLE is being phased out by more accurate LLE emulation, the developers are concentrating on LLE performance. HLE is just a complicated mess of hacky code to fix. Some issues will never be fixed with HLE audio emulation due to it's nature or method of emulating audio output that makes some issues impossible or extremely difficult to fix.

In RE0 GC the notes in the saving room are missing only with Xaudio2 plugin, try Dsound and everything should be fine.

It sounds better hatarumo but its not complete :P. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcU5pFyfYoo . Sorry if it seems like I'm making a big deal haha. The best solution will probably be to purchase the Wii version.

With Dsound music is skipping only 1 note let's say every...30 seconds. Yes, not completely accurate but there are so few missing notes that I don't think it is an annoying problem like instead with Xaudio2.

RE 1 Wii version is locked at 4:3 aspect ratio, therefor it sux so hard. RE0 is ok.

With LLE plugin, in save room, i encounter bad fps drop, same is with RE0 , when first zombies appear, teribble fps drop.
