Emulator Issues #4394
closedD3D9 & OpenGL split images

Description
What's the problem?
- Run Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
- Select New Game
- Select Single-Player Mode
- Watch the intro film with credits that begins and notice that at about 1:30 ~ 2 minutes into it, the camera does a close-up on each of the four different hero classes. For each of the four close-ups the screen splits into three parts, each seems to be a piece of what the expected image should be, which is a single full frame continuous image.
I've attached two .png images of the problem and one of the expected output. This problem occurs in D3D9 & OpenGL, with and without Accurate Texture Cache in each. I got the third (expected output) image from D3D11
Dolphin version with the problem (as it appears in the title bar, Ex.: "R
4779" or "R 6403M"):
r7451M
Operating system and version:
32-bit or 64-bit:
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
Game ID (as it appears in game properties, Ex.: "GZ2P01" or "RSBE01"):
GCCE01
Was the ISO a plain dump from disc, compressed and/or scrubbed?
plain dump from disc

Only tested as a x64 build with hand coded SSSE3 and SSE4 optimization

Just watched the intro with r7449 and I don't have this problem (WinXP 32-bit hd4850)...so maybe it could be a 64 bit or an SSE issue.

I just did some extensive testing...
In r7449 32-bit with no SSE optimization issue exists in D3D9 & OpenGL with and without Accurate Texture Cache set to Normal or Safe.
In r7451 32-bit without SSE optimization the issue exists in D3D9 & OpenGL with and without Accurate Texture Cache set to anything.
In r7457 the issue exists in D3D9 & OpenGL.
In all my tests between revisions I use a new checkout to a new folder and default settings unless stated otherwise.
Did you change any settings from default? Are you sure you're not using D3D11 (that one is fine for me in all tests).
If not the only difference I can see is you're on Windows XP and I'm on 7 Pro & you have hd4850 where I have GTX 260.

For me default setting and Dx9 plugin (Dx11 doesn't work on XP;-))

Tested, intro looks nearly perfect on all 3 backends
1 screen is not an issue, it's the game feature
2 screen no longer an issue on OGL as well
